Moonitor documentation
Everything you need to monitor your websites, APIs, servers and scheduled jobs — and to keep your users informed when something breaks.
Moonitor is an uptime monitoring service. You create monitors for the things you care about, Moonitor checks them on a schedule, and it alerts your contacts when a check fails. Outages are grouped into incidents you can review later, and you can publish a public status page to share uptime with the world.
How Moonitor works
1. Add a monitor
Tell Moonitor what to watch — a URL, host, port, certificate or cron job.
2. We check it, around the clock
Moonitor runs the check on your schedule from our infrastructure and records every result.
3. You get alerted
The moment something goes down — and again when it recovers — your alert contacts are notified.
4. Share status
Publish a branded status page so your users always know what's going on.
